Product Overview

Wound Finned Tubes manufactured with ASME SA179 carbon steel tubes are widely used heat transfer components designed for improving thermal efficiency in heat exchangers, air heaters, economizers, and industrial cooling systems.

The wound fin tube is produced by helically winding a metal strip onto the outside surface of the base tube and mechanically locking the fin foot into a knurled or grooved tube surface. Compared with traditional plain tubes, this structure significantly increases the external heat transfer area while maintaining good mechanical bonding between the tube and fin.

The ASME SA179 base tube provides excellent thermal conductivity, uniform wall thickness, and reliable performance under low to medium temperature heat transfer conditions.
